Geranium
Photography and visual design by Lund x Mauviel
Olfactive Family: Floral
Geranium is an evergreen perennial plant “Pelargonium Graveolens” and hails mostly from countries in North Africa like Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Egypt. The essential oil surprisingly comes from the leaves and the stalks, not the flower itself, by steam distillation. It is often mistaken for Rose essential oil. A multi-faceted ingredient, it has a very powerful, green, leafy-rosy odor with hints of verbena and mint undertones. Geranium has a rich, long-lasting, floral dry down.
